The committee will be considering ideas for merchandising stock featuring the Freemen’s logo. If you have any suggestions please let our Journal Editor know.
Shepherd & Woodward in Oxford have advertised for many years in this journal. Those Freemen who reside in Oxford will know them, but for those who do not, they are a long established, well respected independent High Street menswear and academic gown store.
They currently stock Freemen ties for £10, but because this is Freemen stock sold by S&W on our behalf, they can only be bought by cash in person at their High Street shop.
They do, however, currently have 24 impressive hand painted wooden wall plaques in stock, and which can be posted.
They are 6” wide and 7” tall. At £44.99 they represent good value in comparison with university college ones! P&P would be around £5, but do contact them by email first, to check stock level and postage cost. enquiries@shepwood.co.uk
Lapel pin badges have been popular in the past, but are out of stock currently.
In past decades there were scarves and even an Oxford Freemen bonnet badge!
