On behalf of all the Freemen of the City of Oxford, we share our sincere thanks with Peter as he steps down after more than two years as our Chair.
Peter’s leadership has been invaluable, marked especially by his infectious enthusiasm for the history of Port Meadow. His work with Mark to review and organise the archives has been a recent highlight of his tenure, ensuring that our shared heritage is both preserved and celebrated for years to come.
While he is moving on from the Chair, we are sure that Peter will remain an active Freeman. We are incredibly grateful for the time, wisdom, and energy he has invested in our organisation.
