From the Editor

Thank you all for providing your contact details over the course of the past year. I’d like to take the opportunity to clarify that I only hold the information required to send out the journal (just a name and either a postal or e-mail address). Unfortunately, this means that I am unable to answer any queries relating to historical information on membership, or admittance dates, which falls under the responsibility of the Archivist, a position that is currently vacant (see the later article for more information).

This is the first issue of the journal to be sent out using only this new information, so it’s possible that some Freemen that did not complete the survey will not receive this directly. If this was the case, please, either fill in the form provided on the Journal website: https://journal.oxfordfreemen.org or contact me using the details inside the front cover with your name and either a postal or e-mail address.
