Journal Editor Vacancy
From: 145 Spring 2017
Author: John Carroll
It was a difficult decision, but after twenty years of editing our Oxford Freeman Journal, I think it is time I passed the baton on to a new Editor.
There have only been three Editors over the 145 issues and 57 years of the Journal, so clearly longevity and commitment are key attributes!
The role does not require a lot of ongoing time, but obviously in and around the preparation for publication and mailing-out the biannual Journals some work is required. Attendance at meetings is not essential, so the Editor can live anywhere. Having access to a PC with Word is all I have to do this, so it is very easy, and I will happily help with the hand-over to ensure a seamless transition. If you have access to any publishing software then even better!
